What we collect
Only what you type into our forms. There are four of them.
- Notify me: your email address.
- Apply to be a guest: your full name, brand or company, role, industry, Instagram or website, email, phone number, and the answers you write about your brand and a marketing lesson.
- Suggest a guest: your name, your email, the brand or person you would like to see, and why.
- Partner with us: your full name, company, role, email, phone number, the type of partnership and your idea.
Why we collect it
To reply to you and to run the platform: to read your application or idea, get back to you, and let you know when Season 1 goes live.
Our legal basis
Consent, which you give when you submit a form. For the anonymous visit counts described below, our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used.
Where it goes
Submissions are delivered by email to our team and stored on our server in Germany (EU).
How long we keep it
Up to 12 months. After that we delete it.
Analytics
We count anonymous page visits with GoatCounter, which we host ourselves. It uses no cookies and stores no IP addresses or personal data, so there is no consent banner.
No selling, no sharing
We do not sell your details and we do not share them with anyone.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Message us on Instagram @thebrandbuildup or use the form on the Apply page.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date below.
